Minister Adrovic for CdM: Minimum pension to range from €220 to €230 as of Sept.

Admir Adrović

In an interview for the CdM portal, the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Admir Adrovic, speaks about things most people are interested in during times of crisis – new jobs. The Minister notes that the economic recovery has been obvious, adding that the World Bank projection of the economic growth stands at 3.6%. He also believes that after a certain standstill, Montenegro is going to have the increase of foreign direct investment, which would open new jobs. In addition, the forthcoming summer season will bring in new jobs, as there’d be a rise in demand for new labor force.

Mr Adrovic speaks about better position of workers as well, particularly focusing on pensioners, a rise in pensions and better standard of living for those, as he says, who built everything we have in Montenegro today. In his opinion, labor relations are well regulated through the Labor Law, which significantly protects and guarantees the rights of both workers and employers, adding that, having in mind changes on the labor market, we need further improvements of the legal framework.
