Number of overnight stays was 437,600, which was 8.3% higher than in May 2014. As much as 88.8% of total number of overnight stays was made by foreign, and 11.2% by domestic tourists.
The most of overnight stays in May was recorded by tourists from Russia 23.3%, Serbia 11.7%, France 7.3%, Bosnia and Herzegovina 6.7%, Germany 6%, Ukraine 4.9%, Kosovo 4% and the United Kingdom 3.4%.
“Tourists from other countries recorded 32.7% overnight stays,” the MONSTAT communicated.
The most overnight stays, 93.5%, were recorded in coastal resorts, in the Capital City 3.2% and other tourist resorts 1.7%.
