Montenegrin airports season-ready

Danilo Orlandić

The Airports of Montenegro say they expect to serve almost 300 thousand passengers more in 2018 than in the record year 2017.

“In anticipation of the forthcoming summer season, preparations are under way to provide passengers with greater comfort, but also to make employees more efficient in their work”, said Executive Director of the Airports of Montenegro, Danilo Orlandic.

According to him, in the next few days, new elevators, stairs and other safety equipment will arrive at Podgorica and Tivat airports.

He also pointed out workers at Montenegrin airports will wear uniform clothes this summer.

In the past 10 years, he added, Airports of Montenegro paid around 70 million euros to the budget for taxes and employee contributions, and will continue to settle all obligations regularly.
