Interior Minister, Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić welcomed Mr Muhamed Unal, coordinator of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
Mr Nuhodžić expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation, while highlighting support of the Turkish agency given to implementation of important infrastructure projects and its considerable assistance in training of police officers.
He reminded that Agreement on Cooperation and Mutual Help in emergency situations, which was signed with Turkey, was very important and pointed out that there was space for creating new models of cooperation in emergency situations. He put special emphasis on equipment and means for protection from earthquakes, fires and other hazardous situations.
Mr Unal said that TIKA was assistance hand in all segments necessary for the development of a country. He pointed out that the intention of the agency was to devote special attention to the education of officers in Montenegro.
Both parties agreed that stable cooperation would continue in future.
