Montenegro records nine deaths in a single day, a new high

A further nine people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The patients counted in today’s death toll were from Podgorica, Cetinje (2), Bar (1) and Nikšić (1). In addition, another 402 cases were recorded, whereas 152 people beat the virus. There are currently 10.756 active cases, i.e. 1.707 infections per 100K people.

Data suggest that there have now been 569 coronavirus-related deaths in MNE from the beginning of June, i.e. 578 since the pandemic started in March.
