Montenegro Ski Resorts profited over €200,000 during summer

During summer season, lasting from 6 June to 30 Sept. in the sports-tourist complex Savin Kuk, a total of 168,806 euro of revenues was collected, while the ski resort Kolašin 1600 collected 39,033 euro in revenues during the same period.

This has been suggested in the information on the results of summer tourism season that the govt recently passed at its session. These two ski resorts, according to the document, made a profit of 207,839 euro.

The Durmitor Tourist Center from Zabljak, owned by the Investment and Development Fund, includes the Savin Kuk sports-tourist complex containing two 2-seater cable cars and three ski lifts, one of which is equipped with reflectors for night skiing, as well as with one children’s ski lift. The summer tourism season at this ski resort had 109 active days this year.

The main unit of Montenegro’s Ski Resorts – ski center Kolašin 1600 – was working from 6 July to 30 Sept.

According to the document, the cable car in this ski center is functional solely during winter season, while the restaurant works throughout the whole year.

The total revenues from the use of a cable car in Kolašin 1600 ski center amounted to 14,972 euro, while 24,060 euro was collected from providing services in the resort, thus making a total of 39,033 euro.

As for the ski resort Hajla, a number of different manifestations was organized this summer.

“The Hajla ski resort underlined that they might not be able to open this year’s winter season if the line ministry does not provide funds to support them, “the document says.
