In an interview with the national broadcaster RTCG, he said that the Bosniak Party will support the Prosecutor’s request and vote for lift the immunity of DF officials, Andrija Mandic, Slaven Radunovic and Milan Knezevic at the Administrative Committee.
Mustafic justified this attitude by the fact that the attempt to forcefully occupy the Parliament on October 24th was an extremely destructive act contrary to the Constitution and political practice in the world.
“I believe that there are elements referred by the Prosecution. However, the further procedure needs to prove that and of course the further proceedings should be conducted by the legal consequences of all this,” he said.
Mustafic expects that the Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament will soon schedule a meeting at which lifting of the immunity of MPs Andrija Mandic, Slaven Radunovic and Milan Knezevic will be discussed.
“I can only repeat the position of the representatives of the Bosniak Party at the Administrative Committee session – we will act upon the request of the Prosecution and of course we will support Prosecution’s requests. It will be done due to the simple reason that everything that happened then could not be tolerated or justified by parliamentary immunity,” Mustafic concluded.
