Due to the surge in the number of active coronavirus cases in the northern region, National Coordination Body approved that special measures should be implemented in Gusinje, the same ones that were introduced last week in Rožaje. The same measures that were applied in Bijelo Polje will be in force in Berane.
Starting from midnight, residents of Gusinje will be forbidden to leave their housing units from 6 pm to 5 pm the next day, work of hospitality facilities will be banned, as well as inter-municipal public and passenger traffic except in the case of regular working activities and emergency cases.
Preventive measure which shall enter into force tonight in the Municipalities of Gusinje and Berane encompass the following:
- Gatherings in closed and open public places are banned;
- Religious communities are obliged to perform their activities in accordance with current epidemic situation and to perform religious rites in religious facilities without presence of citizens;
- Receiving condolences and funerals will be carried out within family only;
- Transport of more than two adult passengers in a motor vehicle will be banned, expect for the members of the same household and persons who perform regular working tasks;
- Movement and retention of more than two persons in an open and closed public place will be banned, expect for the members of the same household and persons who perform regular working tasks;
- Wearing masks in closed and open public place is mandatory.
- Gatherings in housing units are banned, except for the members of the same household;
- Education work in the pre-school facilities will be suspended;
- These measures shall be applied in the next seven days from the day of their adoption. Depending on the results, it will be decided is their implementation will be extended.
