New low cost flights from Podgorica to European destinations

Starting from April, Podgorica will be connected to two new European destinations. Starting from  1st April, new flight line, Podgorica-Bologna will be established, two times a week, on Monday and on Friday. Low cost company Ryanair will operate those flights.

This low-tariff company is considering further expansion of its operations in Montenegro. Director for the development of airlines, Gary Butler, met with the CEO of the “Airports of Montenegro”, Danilo Orlandić, in order to talk about the possibilities of further development. This year, Ryanair will connect Podgorica with six destinations.

Ryanair runs six airlines from the airport Podgorica. Passengers can fly twice a week from Podgorica to Stockholm, Brussels, London, Berlin and Bologna. Representatives of this company announced they were very interested in including Tivat in their network.

As portal Boka News reports, famous Norwegian low cost air company Norwegian Air Shuttle will introduce another line from Scandinavia in the forthcoming IATA season. It’s the new line Helsinki-Tivat-Helsinki.
