As meteorologist Branko Micev said for CDM news portal, certain November records were broken, particularly referring to temperatures on the 9th, 10th and 11th of November in Podgorica, Zabljak and Niksic.
“These municipalities recorded the highest temperatures in half a century. In Zabljak, the temperature exceeded 15 degrees Celsius, and the probability of this was 10 percent”, he said.
However, Micev rejects the possibility that current good weather could hint a warm winter with no precipitation or storms.
“It means absolutely nothing, and this current situation does not suggest that warm weather could continue during the entire winter period”, he said.
According to him, the next two days are also expected to be warm and sunny, with temperature exceeding five to 10 degrees C above the record limit for this time of year. We can expect temperatures of 23 to 25 degrees Celsius, while during the weekend the situation will suddenly change.
“The fall of temperature coming from the north of Europe will come to us with intensified north wind. A drop in temperature will be particularly noticeable in the northern mountainous regions, where rain is expected to fall during night”, said Micev.
However, sunny days will delight us again on Monday, which will be characterized by fluctuations in temperatures.
“It is anticipated that temperature will rise compared to the weekend, so we expect 23 degrees and the return of mostly sunny and warm weather”, concluded Micev.
