After a search at Krsmanović apartments in the town of Nikšić, the police found out that eight Serbia’s nationals were engaged to work for the New Serb Democracy, NOVA, without possessing temporary residence/stay permits. The Nikšić police also determined that they were engaged based on a temporary service contract and reported as tourists, writes Pobjeda daily.
Based on the Law on Foreigners, a decision was issued to expel the Serbian nationals – V.V. (38), J.D. (41), O.Đ. (38), J.N. (41), A.S. (26), B.D. (22), V.M. (23) and N.A. (35) – and they’ve been prohibited from entering Montenegro in the next 90 days.
According to the information of Pobjeda, they all concluded 15-day temporary service contracts with the New Serb Democracy to perform fieldwork, that is, keep records of their voters. Article 7 of the contract also says that they will receive €500 per person for work done.
A source close to this daily says that it’s about the so-called “illicit employment” and the only solution was to cancel their residence permits in line with the provisions of the Law on Foreigners.
On behalf of NOVA, temporary service contracts were signed by Mr Milutin Đukanović, an official of Mr Mandić’s party.
