Montenegro confirmed 7.896 coronavirus infections in October, by 20.56% more than in September, Monthly report on Trends in Infectious Diseases indicate.
Institute for Public Health stated that a total of 7.990 people were reported to be infected with some contagious disease.
“If we take into consideration other respiratory infections and differentiated and non-differentiated forms of flu, a total of 24.651 people were reported”.
It was also noted that the incidence rate based on individual reporting of the cases of infectious diseases for this month totals 1284.5/ 100.000 inhabitants, which is by 20% higher than the incidence rate in the previous month.
Respiratory infections were dominant in October (99%).
Parasitic infectious diseases accounted for 0.4 % in the overall diseases, while intestinal infectious diseases accounted for 0.3%.
