Opposition cheated on its voters

United boycott of the Parliament was just a story opposition used to cheat on its voters. SDP returned to the Parliament, and now DF did as well, along with one independent MP. Political analyst Ranko Djonovic spoke to Pobjeda daily and said it has become clear that those who avoid the Parliament do so because they avoid their work obligations.

Montenegrin opposition has been boycotting the Parliament for a year. They started off united, underlining several times they would preserve until their requests our met, the key one being new parliamentary elections.

Still, when their personal interests became threatened, DF leaders returned for immunity sessions.

DF also attended the prime minister hour on Wednesday. It is unclear whether they would continue to come or interrupt the boycott.

SDP returned to the Parliament once, to vote on NATO accession.

So far, only the civic opposition (Democrats, SNP, URA, SDP, Demos) has remained steadfast in the boycott.

Djonovic said that those who do not attend parliament sessions bring the worst damage to their own parties.
