She said that she learned from the media about the controversial candies. After that inspector visited the importer of these chocolate bars and found that there were no controversial series best before dates of which are 19 June 2016 and 8 January 2017.
This is also confirmed by the manufacturer Mars.
“According to our internal mechanisms of products traceability, we can confirm that Mars South Central Europe did not deliver Mars, Snickers, Milky Way and Celebrations chocolate bars to the Montenegrin market”, the company stated.
However, Orban stressed that the inspection would reach the products in the next few days in order to find out whether we eat plastic with them.
Mars earlier announced that it withdrew all its chocolate bars from stores in 55 countries. As for the countries of the region, these chocolates bars are not sold in Serbia. As explained, the country applies precautionary measures.
