Deputy prime minister for political system, internal and foreign policy and minister of justice, Zoran Pazin, has been appointed as the head of the Ministry of European Affairs until the new minister is appointed, the Government decided at the latest cabinet meeting.
Pazin takes over the ministry after the former minister of European affairs Aleksandar Andrija Pejovic resigned.
Pejovic resigned from this position citing moral reasons, after the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) found that he had conflict of interest because he was an ambassador and an ambassador simultaneously.
