The High-Tech Crime Suppression Division of the National Police undertakes activities following a report by the Parents Association concerning a dangerous pedophile group on the Snapchat app that sent an invitation to children from Montenegro to join it and shared pornographic content, the RTCG portal says.

Last week, the CdM portal reported that the inappropriate content had been shared in a pedophile group, adding that the National Police had been informed about it.

The High-Tech Crime Suppression Division started working on this case. “Snapchat was sent a request to submit the necessary information”.

The Executive Director of the Parents Association, Kristina Mihailovic, has said that parents informed them about this group last week. According to them, the children were called to follow and share their nudes. “Unfortunately, some children did it and we’re disgusted to see that something like this is happening, and that’s why we reacted immediately,” she said.

They also contacted Snapchat, urging them to react and ban the spread of inappropriate contact.
