Citizens gathered around 6pm in front of the Parliament in Podgorica from where the organizers called for a referendum on which it would be decided about membership in NATO.
After a long time at the stage in Podgorica former president of Montenegro and the government of the Republic of Yugoslavia Momir Bulatovic could be seen because as he said he cannot keep silent about NATO and joining the NATO would be shameful.
Organizers of the protest new Serbian democracy and Democratic people’s party announced a new gathering in around ten days.

leader of New Serbian democracy Andrija Mandic said that citizens will refuse NATO membership on a referendum for sure, and that it is unacceptable for them to become NATO member after being bombed by NATO. He thinks that Montenegro will be on a verge of conflicts of the referendum is avoided and the will of people ignored.

Protest is organized by New Serbian democracy and Democratic people’s party along with a couple of smaller political subjects.
Police directorate approved the gathering which was reported in accordance with the procedure.
From the police was said that in accordance with the law they will record the gathering from 4pm to 10pm, and if the circumstances require it, the recording might last even longer.
