Dzomic will most likely enter Montenegro tonight on a border crossing Vracenovici, most likely escorted by the head of the Serbian orthodox church in Montenegro, Amfilohije.
Let us remind you that Ministry of internal affairs announced yesterday that reasons because of which Dzomic was deported from the country ceased to exist, because Agency for national security (ANB) made a new assessment that the Priest of Serbian orthodox church is no longer a threat to national security.
Socialdemocratic party SDP claims that the decision on returning Velibor Dzomic to Montenegro was actually made by DPS so they would use him in their campaign.
Lawyer Piperovic however says that the decision of ANB has nothing to do with the confrontation within the ruling coalition and that this decision was expected.
“I don’t see that connection, because both DPS and SDP are supporters of Montenegrin orthodox church (CPC). Considering the fact that this is Serbian priest as they would call him, I don’t see how a Serbian priest has anything to do with arguments within these two parties”, said Piperovic for TV Vijesti.
Change of decision by ANB is not, as he said, surprising. He reminded that they requested a revision of this decision a couple of months ago.
“I think that the original decision was not made on a realistic foundation, but more on stereotypes and prejudice that often follow Dzomic in a form of controversy”, concluded Piperovic.
