In three months time, the Government of Montenegro increased the state debt by 440 million EUR, and in the end of June it amounted to 3,105 billion EUR.
“It’s 70,1 % of GDP. With deposits included, the debt amounted to 2,76 billion EUR which makes 62,3% of GDP”, says the Report of the Ministry of Finance.
The debt of the Government led by Duško Marković increased by even 440 million EUR.
Internal debt decreased by 9 million EUR.
At the end of 2006, public debt of Montenegro amounted to 700 million EUR.
