Supposedly he decided to make this move so the local authorities in Budva could operate normally.
Radjenovic, as Vijesti reported, sent a written resignation to DPS for this position, and it’s expected that he’ll notify the local parliament on his decision, so the parliament can confirm it.
„Since a procedure for dismissal of the president of Budva Lazar Radjenovic will be initiated, who is in detention for the second time, majority for real changes in Budva exists”, it was said yesterday by SNP.
Parliament member of Democrats in Budva and vice president of Demokratska Montenegro Mijomir Pejovic signed the Proposal of SNP for dismissal of the president of Budva, without any conditions.
Let us remind you that two nights ago a meeitng of executive board of DPS was held in Budva with additional participants where also Dusko Markovic, vice president of DPS and Tarzan Milosevic, political director of DPS were present.
After the meeting DPS Budva issued a statement where they pointed out a stronger commitment necessary from all structures of society, starting from national institutions, but also political subjects and media in order to respect the presumption of innocence and the right to privacy and respect of civil rights and freedoms of every citizen.
„Even with an extremely difficult situation that municipality of Budva is in right now, it’s a unanimous position of DPS that this party confirms the unity of its members and readiness to contribute to normal functioning of local autorities and service providing for its citizens and tourists by common efforts of the party and leaders of all institutions, companies and offices”, it was said from DPS.
Lazar Radjnovic became the president of Budva in 2011 after his predecessor Rajko Kuljaca was arrested for abusing his position in case of Zavala.
