Tourism minister, Pavle Radulović, told yesterday that after destruction of 105 facilities built illegally for which decisions have already been issued, a common-sense citizen will never ever do it again.
Radulović said when asked by the DPS MP Marta Šćepanović that after adoption of the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction of Facilities, 367 illegally constructed facilities have been spotted so far. The Ministry banned their construction and issued 105 decisions for the destruction. “We’re sure the illegal construction will cease after this,” said Radulović, adding that inspections were performed over 2,000 facilities during the period January – October 2018.
He admitted to facing somewhat increased level of illegal construction after the Law was passed, but that was prevented ASAP.
51,158 requests for legalization were submitted, while some municipalities are still processing the requests, according to Radulović.
