Radulovic: I did not mean to fight with DPS members

DF MP Branko Radulovic rejected the accusations of violent behaviour in the Parliament on the day when his colleagues Milan Knezevic and Andrija Mandic’s immunity was lifted.

He was questioned in the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office, who issued the order on filing criminal charges for violent behaviour and threats to security against him, as well as DF MPs Milan Knezevic and Milutin Djukanovic.

After the hearing, Radulovic said that he did not want to fight with DPS MPs.

“We reacted emotionally to the injustice that took place in the Parliament. I reject with disgust everything I have been charged with. Had I wanted to physically assault them, I would have done that. And they deserved to be physically attacked. Now the question is whether the prosecution authorities are captured. I am ready for everything,” Radulovic said.

Radulovic’s lawyer Nikola Medojevic said that in this case the prosecutor’s office did not act as if he was an ordinary citizen.

“There are no grounds for the offence he was charged with – violent behaviour. There are no elements of the criminal offense he has been charged with,” Radulovic’s lawyer said.

DF MP Milutin Djukanovic, who was also questioned on Monday, said before the prosecutor that he had not insulted DPS MP Luigj Skrelja at the national, but on human grounds.

Djukanovic said that cases against DF were held through urgent procedures, whereas lawsuits filed by DF were not the subject prosecutors’ interest yet.
