Real Estate Administration resolves issues of citizens, inactivity will be punished

Dragan Kovačević

The Real Estate Administration has launched ‘A month of open doors’ project that enables citizens to directly communicate with the head of this institution, Mr Dragan Kovačević, and tell their doubts and issues that fall under competencies of this state body, so that both can find the best possible solution. In an interview for the weekend edition of Dnevne Novine daily, Mr Kovačević says that they decided to launch this project because citizens were continuously contacting them, expressing their concerns, dilemmas, looking for answers to certain questions.

“We decided to call on all interested citizens who face problems when it comes to the work of our units and the Real Estate Administration, and we’ll be hosting people, giving them legal advice and trying to solve their problems during June, i.e. if their issues refer to the competencies of our body. If not, we’ll send them to other state bodies. The idea came from the fact that we were constantly receiving calls of citizens and requests to solve their problems and complete their cases, complaints against certain units, civil servants, as well as state employees who perform affairs in them,“ Mr Kovačević said.

This whole process, according to him, will be transparent, i.e. accessible to the media/public.
