Rozaje and Hajla ski centre become a tourism destination again

This year, the Government of Montenegro approved the funds for the revival of winter tourism in Rozaje. The newly established company Hajla Rozaje ski centre, which is also the founder, and the Municipality of Rozaje will manage the centre.

It should be point out that the ski trail on Turjak 2 had been completely overgrown in forests and trees. Now it is fully cultivated and ready for all winter sports enthusiasts, “Bosnjak” Internet magazine reports.

There is a parking area near the trail, which was also in bad conditions so that cars could not approach it. Now it looks quite decent and there is enough space for all those who visit the ski resort.

Reconstruction of hotel “Turjak” was stopped several years ago, and the ski resort is impossible to be fully revived. Yet, a new modern restaurant will be most likely built at the foot of the main ski trail, which will complement the tourism offer.

There are optimal conditions for the development of winter sports in Rozaje area at an altitude of 1200-1600 meters above sea level. There is snow 120 days a year, the most of which are sunny. So the expectations are really optimistic that this season will be very successful.
