Minister of Internal Affairs Danilo Saranovic is dissatisfied with the fact that the Government did not approve that the candidate he proposed be elected acting director of the Police Directorate. He announced that he would inform the authorities that criminal acts had been committed at the cabinet meeting.
“My duty as the Minister of the Interior is to inform the competent state authorities about the suspicion that criminal acts were committed at the cabinet meeting, in such a way that, by exceeding the limits of its authority, the Government appointed Aleksandar Radovic as the acting director of the Police Directorate”, Saranovic stated.
He said that at the Prime Minister’s proposal, the Government, by grossly trampling on the law, taking over the powers of the Minister of the Interior and exceeding its powers, voted in favour of Aleksandar Radovic to be illegally appointed as acting director of the Police Directorate.
