The SDP Vice President and Councillor in the Cetinje Assembly, Nikola Djuraskovic, announced that he was going to demand an urgent session of the assembly in Cetinje aiming to insist on the cancellation of Metropolitan Joanikije’s enthronement and propose for it to be held somewhere else.
The Old Royal Capital’s Assembly needs to have clear position and defend Cetinje from the SPC’s and its political supporters’ attempts to humiliate it,” he stated.
The SPC still hasn’t officially confirmed that the enthronement ceremony of Metropolitan Joanikije will be held on 4 September in the Cetinje monastery.
