Šešelj’s students are reviewing lessons

“Fans of Red Star send an ardent message to Milo Đukanović!”  “Banners of Delije are shaking the region” are just some of the headlines in Serbian tabloids which appeared after fans the Red Star spread the banner saying: “Whoever tries to steal something from the monastery, may God take that destroyer his home, house and cattle with sons and exterminate his property and dissipate it suddenly for centuries” at last match of this season that took place on the “Rajko Mitić” stadium. After that, just in order not to get confused about who this curse is referred to, they chanted “Montenegro has risen to defend sanctuaries. Milo, thief”…

This comes as no surprise to those who have been following the situation after the adoption of the Law on Freedom of Religion.

It’s not the first time that views of Serbian officials are expressed on banners, with one difference – that majority of politicians and officials try to wrap their views in some sort of diplomatic behavior while Delije explain things in aggressive and vulgar way.

And this isn’t the only example. On the occasion of celebrating military action called “Oluja” which was attended by military attaché of Montenegro in Croatia, fans of Red Star spread the banner stating: “The country becomes fed up with bloody wave, but the victor won’t lighten your face, for laurel doesn’t grow in junkyards, it’s for the heroes, not killers”.

Believe it or not, this banner was placed in the match against Copenhagen! Does this need any comment?

MEMBERS OF THE CHETNIK MOVEMENT?

Delije are known for their chauvinism, and that is not a surprise either, if we know their roots are in the Chetnik movement.

Leader of the Serbian Radical Party, Mr Vojislav Šešelj, said publicly that leaders of Delije were members of the Chetnik movement “until Arkan took them”.

However, behavior of Delije and Serbian tabloids wouldn’t deserve any special attention if open and aggressive threats weren’t part of the same scenario of Montenegro’s destabilization.

Priests of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral are leaders of the protest in Budva. The public had chance to see that citizens gathered in the metropolis of Montenegrin tourism at the invitation of the priest Mijajlo Backović, who is the member of the Army of Yugoslavia, participant in the war and veteran of the 63rd parachute brigade in Niš.

If we connect actions of the Serbian Orthodox Church, statements made by Serbian officials, politicians, historians, behavior of fans of Red Star and burning Montenegrin flag, it becomes as clear as day that there’s one whole front involved in the destabilization of Montenegro.

The focus has been on Mr Milo Đukanović for a long time. If it weren’t not for Milo, Montenegro wouldn’t have restored independence, Kosovo wouldn’t have been recognized, Montenegro wouldn’t have entered NATO, Law on Freedom of Religion wouldn’t exist…

What does that have to do with Serbia? Nothing at all, but Serbian media are very interested in Montenegro and Mr Đukanović.
