Seven companies apply for the Airports

Seven companies applied for the pre-qualification tender for the concession on the Airports of Montenegro: companies from India, Korea, three Turkish companies, and one Irish company, said Minister of Transport, Mr Osman Nurković.

Two out of three Turkish companies that applied are TAV and Limak group. Indian GMR group also sent the application, as well as Irish Daa International and Korean International Airport.

In accordance with the Law on concessions, Government adopted concession act for the concession on the Airports. The concession will be granted to the most favorable bidder, which will found and register an enterprise headquartered in Podgorica.

“First, we’ll see what companies show interest and which ones have met the pre-qualification requirements”, said Mr Nurković.

Finally, Minister said, the list of companies that pre-qualified will be published and then bids will be invited.
