In co-operation between Montenegro and Kosovo, special emphasis has been placed on sharing responsibilities and the focus of future controls, in order to ensure efficient use of available funds.
This was announced by the Ministry of Finance, after a meeting of the representatives of the Directorate for Financing and Contracting of EU Assistance Funds and the delegation of the Controlling Authority of the Ministry of Local Administration of Kosovo.
The Ministry calls to mind that the Financing Agreement for the bilateral program of cross-border cooperation Montenegro-Kosovo was signed in December 2015. The first call for proposals was announced on 10 March 2017, and the total call value was €2,040,000 (annual financial allocations for 2014 and 2015).
