Shipyard in Bijela offers job for 300 people

Consortium composed of Adriatic Marinas – Porto Montenegro and Damen, a company that deals with construction of ships and super yachts at global level, is launching a program for the recruitment of engineers in the construction of ships and overhaul of yachts. They will work in the shipyard in Bijela.

The program will entail the organization Days of open door in the shipyard and the priority will be given to former employees of the Institute Sava Kovačević – Arsenal, shipyard in Bijela, as well as to the experienced engineers on the ships of different kinds.

Benefits for the economy of Montenegro will be considerable, since over 300 people are expected to be employed again in the ship building industry. Thanks to this project, the region will offer again renowned services of this type to the entire Mediterranean marine market.

The enterprise is working on hiring people for planning and transformation of the shipyard in Bijela into a new repair facility and for the early commencement of preliminary operations.
