The signing of the second agreement of the new parliamentary majority that should contain asset of reform laws on judiciary, economy social affairs, lustration laws and the law on the origin of property, has been called into question due to different views of the parts of DF and URA on the abolition of the Law on Freedom of Religion.
Several sources close to Pobjeda have said that draft of the second agreement is currently on stand-by.
“The situation is further complicated by the request made of the part of DF, as some members of this political group demanded that prerequisite for the formation of the new government be abolition of the Law on Freedom of Religion”, a source has said.
Another source said that Mr Zdravko Krivokapić had obtained the information that at least two members of the ‘Black and white’ coalition had opposed abolition of the Law and that instead they proposed amendments to some articles.
The fact that leaders of New Serbian Democracy and Democratic People’s Party, Mr Andrija Mandić and Mr Milan Knežević asked for the withdrawal of the Law on Freedom of Religion before the formation of the government confirms that there won’t be new agreement, at least for now.
