For prosecutors in the Special State Prosecutor’s Office the following candidates were appointed: the former prosecutors in the Department for Combating Organised Crime, Corruption, Terrorism and War Crimes, Mira Samardzic, Lidija Vukcevic and Marija Raspopovic; former judges of the Basic Court in Podgorica, Lidija Mitrovic and Natasa Boskovic, as well as Tatjana Zizic, a lawyer.
The Prosecution Council will continue to work on Tuesday, when it will decide on other candidates.
On June 23rd, the Prosecution Council appointed former judge of the Appellate Court, Milivoje Katnic, the Chief Special Prosecutor, on the proposal of Mr Stankovic.
