Courts in Montenegro have at their disposal 53 cars, mostly Volkswagen Golf or Passat. The most luxurious ones such as Mercedes or Audi are at the disposal of President of Supreme Court Vesna Medenica.
Court Council believes that the existing car park is not adequate, so this year they are set to spend 60.000 EUR for new cars. Tender for procurement of cars will be published in the following months.
“Based on the requests from Higher Court in Podgorica, basic courts of Podgorica, Žabljak and Rožaje, as well as Higher Court for misdemeanors of Montenegro, we will procure cars based on the system old for new. Allocated resources are 60 thousand EUR”, Court Council said to Dan daily.
According to data on official cars of the courts, Supreme Court has four cars, two of which are reserved for the President.
Medenica us using Mercedes-benz E350 BLUETEC 4M, that cost 59.990 EUR, as well as Audi A6.
Supreme Court has two more cars Passat that are used by freelance referents in the Court.
In other courts, presidents normally use Volkswagens. Such is the case with President of Appellate Court Mušiko Dujović who drive Volkswagen Passat that is two years old.
This court also has Renault Laguna Lux Privilege, produced in 2006.
Chief of Commercial Court Blažo Jovović drives Opel Insignia Drive B16 DTH MT6, produced last year. This court has two more cars, Golfs with ten years of age.
Basic court in Pljevlja has three cars, Lada Niva, Golf 6, Golf 5. It is unclear which car is used by President Radinka Gačević.
President of Basic court in Žabljak Mihailo Anđelić drives Ford Fusion, and the court has one more car – Lada Niva.
Basic court in Nikšić owns two Volkswagens and one Lada Niva, although it is unclear which one is used by President Vukota Vujačić.
President of Basic court in Berane Dragan Dašić drives Renault Megane, like his colleague in Bijelo Polje Radule Piper. These courts also have one Lada Niva each.
Official Volkswagen Golfs are driven by presidents of basic courts in Plav Hilmija Sujković, Danilovgrad Milica Jovović, Kolašin Arsen Popović, and Herceg Novi Zorica Dabetić.
Basic court in Podgorica has four cars, Golf 5, Passat 6, Lada Niva and Chevrolet, but it is unclear which one is used by President Zoran Radović.
Court in Cetinje has three cars, as well as court in Rožaje. No information on which car is driven by presidents Jelena Perović Kovačević and Zahit Camić.
Court in Kotor owns two Volkswagens. President of this court is Branko Vučković.
President of Ulcinj court Amir Đokaj drives Ford Focus, produced in 2006. Same car is driven by President of Basic court in Bar Goran Šćepanović.
Higher court in Bijelo Polje has more cars than High court in Podgorica.
Court in Bijelo Polje owns four vehicles, and President Tofil Žujović drives Volkswagen Passat 1,9 TDI”.
Boris Savić, President of Higher court in Podgorica, drives Golf 5 produced in 2008.
