Stefan Dragovic arrested in Budva, Milos Marovic unavailable

“S.D. has been arrested, for whom there is reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of abuse of office by providing assistance. Arrest warrants for two persons have also been issued, but they are not available. They are M.M. and M.V., reasonably suspected of having committed the criminal offense abuse of power through incitement,” the Supreme State Prosecutor’s Office communicated.

We remind that on August 13th, they filed thirteen criminal charges for abuse of office in the cases of the TQ Plaza and “Jaz”. The Prosecution charged officials from Budva that they had become members of a criminal group that had been operating for a long time, having damaged the municipality budget by more than 10 million.

Within this affair, the former President of the Municipality of Budva, Rajko Kuljaca, and former director of the AMD Budva, Igor Trnski, have been granted cooperative witnesses status. Former President of the Municipality of Budva, Lazar Radjenovic, the owner of Budva-based company “Megapromet”, Miodrag Mitrovic, former director of Cadastre in Budva, Mirjana Marovic, and appraisers Marko Radunovic, Milka Lazarevic and Ljubisa Bacevic have been suspects in those cases.

An investigating judge ordered up to 30 days custody for Radjenovic, Mitrovic, Marovic, Radunovic, Lazarevic and Bacevic.
