“Thus, the number of members of this party increased. Former colleagues from the SDP have been switching over to the SD”, Suhih said, adding that the party was particularly pleased with the fact that people who haven’t been politically active so far were joining it.
“It gives us a special motivation to continue with our way of thinking and to even more influence on people who did not have anyone to vote for until yesterday,” he said.
According to Suhih, there are a large number of SDP members among the Social Democrats.
“Colleagues from the former party now have the absolute assurance that the party will continue with the proper foundations of social-democracy. It will continue the ideas that are all the members have stood for since the beginning,” Suhih said.
The Ministry of Interior has complied with the decision of the Administrative Court and officially registered the Social Democrats of Montenegro led by Ivan Brajovic in early December.
