In a statement for the CdM portal, the Education Inspector Zdenka Grbavcevic claims that the management of the Inspection Affairs Administration suspended her because of political clashes and some decisions she made on a number of educational institutions. According to her, this body violated her human and professional rights, as the Chief Education Inspector Lucija Adzic threatened her and urged other employees to launch a disciplinary procedure against her. Acting Director of the Inspection Affairs Administration, Ilir Harasani, tells CdM that Ms Grbavcevic’s statements about the alleged “political clashes” were tendentious and baseless, and that she’s now trying to justify her previous mistakes by involving politics into the matter.
In the decision on suspension of Ms Grbavcevic, signed by Mr Harasani, it’s suggested that a disciplinary procedure was launched against her on suspicion of breaching her work duties.
She, on the other hand, explains for CdM that an incident occurred when her colleague Ivan Zindovic verbally attacked her at the premises of the Inspection Affairs Administration, after which her response followed.
She also claims to be the first suspended inspector in this state body, adding that the reasons for it are frivolous, unlawful and discriminatory.
“My human and professional rights have been violated,” Ms Grbavcevic underlines.
