Tax Administration generated a total gross collection of taxes and contributions in the amount of €72.95m in April, which is 8% more than in the same period last year.
The administration stated that it collected 4% more taxes than planned for April.
“There is a rise in all revenues collection. In the structure of taxes, collection of corporate income tax is standing out. The gross amount of it was €6.41m, which is almost 50% more than in the same period last year and the relevant plan for April,” the statement said.
It is particularly important that €12.38m VAT was collected, or 16% above the one collected in April last year and by €1.5m, or 13% above the corresponding plan for April.
