If the Government and the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare do not accept the request of education employees to increase the coefficient on salaries of teachers in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools to 12.56 (now it is 7.67), the final measure they will be to organize a protest, Pobjeda reports.
On Sunday, 19 December, the non-governmental association Educational Community of Montenegro launched an electronic petition. In less than three days, it collected 3,000 electronic signatures of teachers and citizens. A day later, it forwarded an email to all kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, sending them a version of the petition signed directly by each teacher/educator.
The deadline for signing both petitions is Friday, 24 December.
