After Ombudsman Sucko Bakovic asked the Special Psychiatric Hospital in Kotor to initiate the proceeding to determine responsibility of a medical technician who abused six patients last year by slapping and hitting them, the hospital director Dragan Cabarkapa told Pobjeda that Dragan Paovic was immediately issued a warning that he will be dismissed.
He explained that the opinion of the trade union was necessary for reaching a final decision on firing the technician. However, the hospital trade union stated that Paovic was not its member. Cabarkapa said that he had obtained information that the medical technician was a member of the Union of Free Trade Unions (USS), so they a request for an explanation was sent to the organisation.
