Measures of austerity and fiscal consolidation, set to be adopted by the end of May, will not decrease pensions, said Prime Minister Dusko Markovic responding to questions of journalists after visiting Lustica Bay.
“There will be no decrease in pensions, seniors can feel safe. As far as salaries in public sector go, will see. I am afraid that the officials will have their salaries decreased”, Prime Minister said.
He said that the Government will lease airport Tivat because the model of crediting is not working.
“Any new debts make our position more difficult. We will try to valorize the airports through long-term leases. There is interest from credible international companies. We are working with the World Bank to create a model and I believe we will have a concrete suggestion soon”, Markovic said.
