Patients used to wait for a month for the pediatric allergist’s examination in the Institute for Children’s Diseases and now the children with allergic symptoms will have to seek medical help in private clinics.
A mother of a child with allergic symptoms told the daily that Zejnilovic, M.D., worked in the private clinic “Malbaski” now. She complained she had to take her daughter to a dermatovenereologist in the KCCG where both adults and children are being examined together with those scheduled for allergy testing. “Everything is performed at the same time. A healthy person would become sick there. It’s a disaster”, she said.
The NGO Parents Association of Montenegro states they have been struggling with this problem for six months, adding that neither the Ministry of Health nor the Clinical Center have answered yet when the issue would be solved.
The Ministry of Health redirected the daily “Vikend Novine” to ask the Clinical Centre which has not answered either. As the KCCG communicated, their director Ranko Lazovic was officially absent.
