The only legal religious school will be financed from the budget

According to Dnevne Novine, the Government of Montenegro will accept the contract on financing the only religious high school with the publicly-accredited curriculum – Mehmed Fatih madrasa in Podgorica. Thus, the only licensed religious school becomes part of the Ministry of Education’s budget.

The financing agreement is €500,000 worth  and it will be paid in monthly instalments, for the needs that are covered by other schools in the education system: gross salaries and other employee benefits, current costs for materials and services, maintenance, etc.

The agreement will then be signed by the director of the madrasa Fuad Cekic and minister Damir Sehovic.
