The boycott of the parliament is unacceptable and protests simultaneously happening in Montenegro, Serbia and Albania should not be compared, suggests the European Union (EU) spokeswoman, Maja Kocijančić.
According to Dnevne Novine daily, Kocijančić told “there won’t be a Balkan spring“ that might trigger serious crisis for the EU.
“Protests in every country have their own characteristics and I would not compare those situations,” Kocijančič said in Brussels, Tanjug reported.
The EU, she added, has a clear message for the Western Balkan countries – they all have the European perspective which can become reality only through the implementation of reforms.
