The elections in Berane are over. Former coalition partners blackmail the SNP and Vladimir Jokovic to give up the minority government if they intend to be part of the government. Jokovic tells them that, if they continue like that, they will overthrow the government in Mojkovac, Niksic… The fact is that Berane can get power without the SNP.
The Democratic Party of Socialists in a coalition with the Social Democrats and the Bosniak Party won nine seats in the elections in Berane yesterday, eight less than with the same coalition partners in the 2018 elections.
Despite the fact that, as a list, they remained individually the strongest and won the largest number of mandates, they stand no chance of forming the government in Berane, and in relation to the elections four years ago, they recorded a big drop.
According to the representatives of the political parties, none of the other participants in these local elections want to form a coalition with the DPS.
