The banking sector ended 9 months with €29.6m in the black.
Fifteen banks earned €72.6m from interest rates and commissions. Ten banks yielded profits totalling €32.6m, while five of them suffered losses (IBM, Prva Banka, Zapad Banka, Ziraat Bank and Nova Banka – total of €3.01m loss).
The biggest profit of €8.26 was realised by CKB. It earned a total of €22m from interest rates and commissions. CKB’s profit last year was considerably lower (€1.08m).
CKB is followed by Societe Generale Bank (profit €7.2m), Erste Banka (profit €6.17), NLB Banka (profit €4.76), Hipotekarna Banka (profit €3.4m), Komercijalna Banka (profit €1.33m), Atlas Banka (profit €540,000), Addiko Bank (profit €420,000) Universal Capital Bank (profit €325,000) and Lovcen Banka (profit €235,000).
