Podgorica Police, in cooperation with safety department of Andrijevica, found 105 kg of skunk cannabis in two separate actions, and arrested N.N (36) from Andrijevica, A.D (39) from Albania and Z.T (45) from Podgorica.
In the first case, the police searched N.N. (36) and A.D. (39), as well as their vehicle. They found two white bags, containing 85 kg of skunk. Seized drugs were sent to Forensic Center.
“We suspect that the drugs were to be trafficked through our country to neighbouring countries. State prosecutor in Bijelo Polje has been notified, and criminal charges were made”, they said in the Police.
In the second case, the police searched the house Z.T (45) was using in Lijeva Rijeka. 20 kg of skunks were seized, as well as weapons.
“Hunting rifle and ammunition were found, as well as two boxes with unknown contents, mobile phones and car tables”, they added in the Police.
Z.T. has been arrested on the warrant of State Prosecutor in Podgorica, with a criminal charge pending.
