ToMontenegro requests loan to repair the engine

Air Montenegro

The national airline ToMontenegro has been negotiating with domestic and foreign creditors over a loan to finance the repair of one engine ‘Embraer 195’ (4O-AOB), which was in Brazil over the past two years. According to assessments, repairing the engine would cost 3 million dollars, ToMontenegro has confirmed for Pobjeda daily.

The negotiations over a loan with domestic banks have been completed, and they all required the government’s guarantee. The national airline management yesterday talked to one international creditor and presented the state of play in the company and the reasons requesting a loan.

“As all domestic banks require government guarantees, we addressed the government and at the same time are considering options with foreign creditors.”

Following the talks with creditors, they’re going to inform the government about the requirements for getting a loan, expecting that they won’t have to take the full sum for repairing the engine.
