In Belgrade, an event called That’s What Our Ancestors Said was opened on 21 June. It is accompanied by an exhibition with billboards showing photos and statements of people who, as the organizers say, “marked our history”, Dnevne Novine reports.
Among the panels is one with photographs of portraits of four Montenegrin greats – St. Peter of Cetinje, Peter II Petrovic Njegos, King Nikola and Marko Miljanov, under whose names is the following message: Which Montenegrins are not Serbs?
The exhibition is a project of the Serbian National Council in Montenegro. Before it was presented in Serbia, it was staged in several Montenegrin cities – Pljevlja, Berane, Herceg Novi, and also in the Serbian House in Podgorica.
