President of the USA, Mr Donald Trump, has sent a congratulatory note to Mr Milo Đukanović and Montenegrin citizens on the occasion of celebrating Statehood Day.
“Dear President, on my behalf and on the behalf of the American nation, I congratulate you on Statehood Day. I would also like to congratulate Montenegro on its third anniversary of NATO membership. Montenegro continues to significantly contribute to regional and global security, as well as to countering cyber and hybrid threats by deploying its soldiers in NATO, EU and UN missions around the world”, Mr Trump said.
The USA will remain committed to friendship and partnership with Montenegro in its reforms and preparation for elections.
“I am looking forward to working together on strengthening our partnership and improving values of freedom, safety and prosperity we share”, Mr Trump concluded.
