Montenegro has a lot of potential to attract a larger number of tourists from both Germany and the European Union – it was concluded during the meeting between Prime Minister, Milojko Spajic, and representatives of one of the world’s leading tourism companies, TUI, led by a member of the Group Executive Committee and Group Director Corporate & External Affairs, Thomas Ellerbeck.

The delegation comprised the German Bundestag MP, Tilman Kuban, and they all visited the coast in order to see tourist attractions of the Montenegrin coastline.

TUI has been present in our market through cruise ships in Kotor and Bar. They would like to strengthen cooperation in order to present Montenegro to their clients as a long-stay destination.

“For tourism, as a key industry in Montenegro, it’s important to attract tourists from as many countries as possible, while the strategic cooperation with German tour operators from that perspective is priceless for us,” PM Spajic pointed out.

The guests from Germany were impressed by the coastline’s natural beauties, and both sides noted that a lot of work had to be put in the promotion of Montenegro.

The meeting was organized in collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation, represented by Jakov Devcic and Zoran Dabetic.
